What we do

Our Tax Planning Services

Legal strategies to reduce tax liability and stay compliant, for individuals, businesses, and structures spanning multiple jurisdictions.

Personal Tax Planning

We look at your personal situation and the tax residency rules that apply to you, including Cyprus’s 60-day residency test, and identify legal opportunities to reduce your exposure.

Business Tax Planning

Business decisions carry real tax consequences. We advise on structuring that takes full advantage of the 15% corporate tax rate and the reliefs that sit around it, covered in more depth on our Cyprus Tax System page.

International Tax Planning

Using appropriate structures across jurisdictions, tax liabilities can be reduced substantially. We work with professionals in multiple countries to identify efficient, defensible structures, closely tied to the work covered on our International Clients hub.

VAT Advice and Compliance

VAT legislation is complex and constantly amended, in Cyprus and across the EU. Our team stays current and applies that knowledge directly to your situation, at the standard 19% rate or the reliefs and exemptions that may apply.

Tax Compliance and Authority Liaison

Provisional and monthly tax filing deadlines carry real penalties if missed. We track and meet them on your behalf, and if the tax authorities do raise questions, we handle that correspondence directly so it stays a routine matter rather than a daunting one.

Frequently Asked
Questions

What is Cyprus non-dom status, and who qualifies?

Non-domiciled status exempts a Cyprus tax resident from Special Defence Contribution on worldwide dividend and interest income for 17 years. Most people who move to Cyprus from abroad qualify automatically, provided they haven't been Cyprus tax resident for at least 17 of the last 20 years.

What's the Cyprus corporate tax rate in 2026?

15%, up from 12.5% from 1 January 2026. See our Cyprus Tax System page for the full 2026 reform detail, including loss carry-forward, SDC and stamp duty changes.

Can I qualify for Cyprus tax residency without living there full time?

Yes, via the 60-day rule, provided you meet the accompanying conditions: no more than 183 days in any other single country, a business, employment or directorship connection to a Cyprus company, and a permanent Cyprus residence.

What happens when my non-dom exemption reaches 17 years?

You become deemed domiciled and standard SDC rates apply going forward. Under the 2026 reform, individuals with no Cyprus domicile of origin can elect to extend the exemption for up to two further five-year periods at a fixed fee per period.

Do I need to register for VAT in Cyprus?

It depends on your activity, turnover and cross-border transactions. Our team reviews your specific position and handles the registration and ongoing compliance if required.
